Mr. Jouard specializes in all aspects of trial work and has argued a number of appeals in various federal courts of appeals and state intermediate and supreme courts. Mr. Jouard, a native of Boulder, Colorado, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Wyoming. While in law school, Mr. Jouard co-authored Establishing the Tort of Bad Faith in Wyoming for the Land and Water Law Review. During the first 5 years of his career, Mr. Jouard worked diligently for insurance companies and corporations, where he got an insider's view of how insurance companies evaluate and handle claims. Having assisted in defending hundreds of cases on behalf of insurance companies and corporations, he fully understands the corporate perspective on claims handling and trying cases against victims of personal injuries in Colorado and Wyoming.
